Ventilated crates for mushrooms, anyone tried this before?

Bit of an unusual one but I've started growing oyster mushrooms in a small setup at home in Al Nahda and I'm running into an issue with my fruiting chamber. The humidity is climbing too high and I'm getting some weird fuzzy mould on the substrate blocks which I'm pretty sure is because there's not enough fresh air moving through. Someone on a mushroom growing group said I should stop using sealed tubs and look at ventilated crates instead since the holes let air circulate properly while still holding everything together. I had a look at crateco and the vented options look like they might work but I'm not sure about hole size and whether the airflow would be too aggressive and dry everything out. The last thing I want is to trade one problem for another. If anyone here has used these for anything humidity related, even for storing vegetables or herbs, I'd love to know how it went and whether you had to adjust anything.
