Huge thanks to the brilliant Helen Hayes MP for her Parliamentary Question to the Health Minister yesterday
She highlights the rising numbers of younger people diagnosed with #bowelcancer, many of us late stage because we are deemed too young & #ironanaemia is not investigated.
Despite strong evidence of a link with #colorectalcancer + NICE guidelines clear that GPs should test under 50s with iron anaemia, this still doesn’t feature in NHS England (or Bowel Cancer UK) lists of common symptoms.
