Does anyone else just dread the moment their warranty expires?

My Passat's warranty ran out about three months ago and I've been putting off finding a regular garage because honestly the whole process stresses me out. You hear stories about people getting overcharged for simple stuff or worse, getting work done that wasn't even needed. My wife actually found 800sayara while she was looking up something unrelated and showed it to me, said it might help me stop procrastinating. I still haven't really explored it properly but the idea of seeing multiple workshop options in one place instead of calling around and getting vague answers sounds appealing. Curious what everyone's experience has been with finding a long term mechanic here, do you just pick one and stick with them or do you shop around for every job? I feel like there's no right answer but I'd rather learn from other people's mistakes than make my own.
